Terms of Use

Effective 16 October 2026

These terms are an agreement between you and Knoctal ("we", "us") for your use of the Heartful app and website. By downloading or using Heartful, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use the app.

1. What Heartful is

Heartful is a dhikr and tasbih app presented as a game. The dhikr, translations, references and event dates in the app are provided for personal remembrance and convenience. They are not religious rulings, and Islamic dates are calculated and may differ from local moon sighting. Please refer to qualified scholars and your local community for religious guidance.

2. Your license

We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to use Heartful on devices you own or control, for your own non-commercial use, in line with these terms and the rules of the store you got it from.

You agree not to:

3. Accounts

You can use Heartful without an account. To sync across devices you can sign in with Google, or with Apple on iPhone. You're responsible for keeping that account secure. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account → Delete account. Our Privacy Policy explains what we collect and how we use it.

4. Full Access subscription

Daily and Events are free. Heartful Full Access unlocks the Journey, Feelings, periodic reminders and sync across your devices. It is an auto-renewing yearly subscription.

If you bought a one-time Full Access unlock on Android before the subscription was introduced, you keep Full Access for as long as the app offers it, with no subscription needed.

5. Our content

The app, its art, music, design and code belong to Knoctal or our licensors and are protected by copyright and other laws. Fonts and other third-party components are used under their own licenses, which are included in the app.

6. Changes and availability

We improve Heartful over time and may add, change or remove features. We'll try to keep the app available, but we can't promise it will always work without interruption. If we stop offering Full Access, we'll give reasonable notice and won't renew your subscription.

7. Disclaimer

Heartful is provided "as is" and "as available". To the fullest extent the law allows, we disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement.

8. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent the law allows, Knoctal won't be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for lost data, arising from your use of Heartful. Our total liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for Heartful in the twelve months before the claim.

Nothing in these terms limits rights you have under consumer protection laws that can't be waived.

9. Ending these terms

You can stop using Heartful at any time by deleting the app and, if you have one, your account. We may suspend or end your access if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms. Sections 5, 7, 8 and 11 continue after these terms end.

10. App Store terms

If you got Heartful from Apple's App Store, these terms also apply:

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Pakistan. Disputes will be handled by the courts of Pakistan, unless the consumer laws of your country give you the right to bring a claim where you live.

12. Changes to these terms

If we change these terms, we'll update the effective date above. If a change is significant, we'll tell you in the app before it takes effect. Continuing to use Heartful after that means you accept the new terms.
